Ensuring your teeth are clean is the safest bet for long term oral care health.

But the question we at BRUSHEE always get is, how often should I brush? And to be honest, that depends on the degree of cleaning. So we've provided some general tips for you to follow, but highly recommend you check with your dentist for their on insight on your personal needs, as well.

Daily Oral Care

You should clean your teeth with a nylon bristled brush at least two to three times a day. The brush you decide to use at home, should match your needs and comfort to ensure an adequate brush. And the brush you use on-the-go should provide you with the same benefits you receive at home; similar to the BRUSHEE. When brushing it is important to use smooth motions when cleaning the outer, inner, and chewing surfaces of your teeth. To clean in between your teeth, up and down motions should be used while brushing. However flossing your teeth at least twice a day will also aide in removing any remaining plaque, food, and bacteria from your mouth.

Dental Visits

While forming proper daily brushing habits, and carrying an on-the-go oral care solution, like the BRUSHEE is important, one must not overlook having your teeth professionally cleaned. Professional cleanings are performed at your dentist office, by a dental professional. This type of cleaning is much more robust, and can aide in removing the deposits on your teeth that daily brushing cannot remove. It also can help in the prevention of gum disease. We recommend having your teeth professionally cleaned twice each year if your teeth are healthy, and more often if you have specific concerns that effect your oral hygiene.
